Jim Keith - Pilot Edge 540 build for Del Lesley

I didn't work on it much during November & December due to a major clean-up & re-organization of my basement shop. I'm about 85 - 90% complete, so it's very usable now.
The Edge 540 is close to being finished. The only thing we're waiting on are the batteries (2 for receiver/servos & 1 for the engine). I can't balance it & finalize location of the receiver, batteries & switches until we have them. There's just a few other things left to do. Balance prop, finish cutting access holes in cowl (exhaust cut-out is complete). Install wheels, axles & wheelpants. Throttle adjustments will be made during engine run-in. Still need to adjust all control surfaces for max throw, low rates & exponential.

My Edge 540 is is coming along great. All control surfaces are hinged, control horns epoxied in plus linkages & servos installed. Fuel dot, Rudder & horizontal stabs installed. Both wing halves complete except for final adjustment (receiver & regulator supposed to be here today). Firewall has been located, epoxied & bolted in.
